New State Approved Forms

The State of Texas has just gone through a process of creating and approving Will forms for folks who do not have lawyers and who want to make sure that their wishes are carried out upon their death.  These forms are built to be easy to use and straightforward to execute.

If you do not have a will, and cannot afford to hire a lawyer, these forms may be right for you and, most certainly, will be better than passing away with no Will at all.

These forms are NOT FOR EVERYONE and are not a good substitute for seeking the advice of a lawyer.  But, if you do not have a whole lot in the world, if you do not own multiple parcels of real estate, and if you do not have investment portfolios or similar valuable assets, these may be a good start towards an orderly disposition of your affairs.
